The Jung Hotel was absolutely amazing and priced fairly! We checked in so excited not only were we going to see Chris Brown, we were also getting married! The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating! The rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to a lot of things; including only a 10 minute walk to the Superdome! Will be back!
Really nice spot. Superior king room is well equipped with lots of soace. Dual sinks in the bathroom were a nice surprise. Staff was friendly upon arriving with lots of advice for where to visit and what to skip.
Dakota and Monique were amazing. Very accommodating. Hotel room was clean staff was very friendly. 10 min walk to bourbon st 5 min to food and drinks not including whats in the lobby. The only inconvenience was in the 4day we were there the restaurant never opened even though the site and lobby says open daily.
1: room door missing plastic piece that covers microchip for entry 2: floors of shower gross, shower heads full of mineral buildup, no fan in bathroom 3: went to cafe in hotel, lady obviously didnt want us there, it was an hour before close and she was like oh well i turn off the ovens so we can sell u the food but you have go to floor two to hear it up…why have a cafe and hire staff that don't wanna sell the cafe food??? Its even more funny because im a full time barista and know how easy it is to literally open a package and put it in the oven bro What is happening anymore lol
The rooms are huge, it's much quieter than being near Doubletree and Marriott, and the staff is really nice. Bathrooms are bigger, too! It's also about 150 cheaper a night than Marriott. (At the time of this review).
The staff, especially the night staff, FIVE STARS. i believe the woman i kept seeing was brandy but i am not sure. She was a lovely person. This was a 7 day stay, so i used door dash to bring me essentials to keep in my room, such as a case of water and other beverages. There is a small electric stove and mini fridge, but i ate every meal out. the in-house laundry was a nice touch as i was able to do all of my laundry before i left, and that allowed me to return home to unpack. please note, these are high efficient machines so please by the proper detergent from any walgreens or CVS, also within walking distance. i did not add photos because the photos on their site are 100% ACCURATE.
Overall, a good experience. A very good location for Mardi Gras events. The rooms are clean. Most appliances and electronics functioned properly. We did have an outlet that was not receiving power. Also be aware that the "make up room" buttons aren't used. You have to call for housekeeping prior to 11am. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again in the future.
The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The quality of our stay for the price was hard to beat and the hotel is in a great location. On one of the days breakfast was unavailable due to sickness but there are other places nearby that do a great breakfast instead.
